Local Outreach

Our congregation supports the following community initiatives via volunteerism and/or financially.

For the last 34 years, the Project Hope Food Bank has helped provide food for people at their immediate point of need. It exists to help foster a strong community held together by relational ties as people live out a common purpose through participation.

The Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic (WCPC) is a nonprofit medical clinic in downtown Bellingham, Washington, that provides free, accurate, and confidential pregnancy tests and related services. Their pledge to the men, women, and families they serve? Respect. Privacy. Testing. Answers.

Lighthouse Mission works throughout Whatcom County to break the cycle of homelessness in the lives of people experiencing it. Those in need can come to the Mission for nutritious meals, safe shelter, and one-on-one case management.

Stepping Stones is a Christian non-profit overnight summer Bible camp in Deroche, British Columbia, Canada, for students between Grades 3-12. They strive to provide children with an amazing camp experience, filled with great activities and adventures, and learning about Jesus and God’s wonderful creation.

The Bridges of Hope home provides a Christ-centered transformational community. They help men released from jail, prison, and substance abuse rehabilitation centers to get back on their feet and start living productive lives.

Voice of the Church is a media outreach program that produces Scripture meditations covering a wide range of topics. The 15-minute broadcasts encourage you to become familiar with the teachings of Holy Scripture and learn about the plan of salvation made possible through Jesus Christ.

New Way Ministries is a non-profit faith-based organization that provides transitional housing for women and their children. Their mission is to minister to the immediate needs of women and children who come to their home, providing compassionate care and counsel in a loving Christian atmosphere.

Global Outreach

Our congregation financially supports the following global initiatives:

Mission Aid Brazil provides Christian relief and development aid to needy people in Brazil. They focus on those within the household of faith to support the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, along with Christian education.

Middle East Reformed Fellowship (MERF) is an evangelical Christian missionary organization which serves in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia on behalf of Reformed and Presbyterian churches and believers worldwide.  MERF’s labors are bearing fruit for the Kingdom of Christ among the 22 nations of the Arab League and other Muslim areas in Africa and Asia. The organization strengthens churches with ministries of evangelism, church extension, biblical training, and diaconal aid.

Canadian Reformed World Relief Fund (CRWRF) is a voluntary charitable organization based in the federation of Canadian Reformed Churches that allows Christians to respond to the needs of their international neighbors. It supports various relief efforts on a continuous basis as well as when specific disasters strike. The gifts the CRWRF collects are channeled through international agencies known for their reliability and effectiveness.
